As a professional art therapist, I combine psychotherapy and creative interventions within the context of a therapeutic relationship to support individuals of all ages to express their thoughts and feelings while strengthening their mental awareness and resiliency. I work from a trauma-informed perspective and my therapeutic approach is Person-centered, resilience-focused, and strength-based. Having taught yoga and meditation for 7+ years allows me to seamlessly integrate these mindfulness-based practices into my psychotherapy work as a way to support individuals to bring awareness to their mind-body connection and to help them build healthy and effective coping skills.
