Skills Summary:With a background and degree in Studio Arts from UC Irvine, Millie Velasco a.k.a. "Millz Vanillz" is well-known for engaging her guests and capturing their uncanny likenesses in a fun, flattering style. Prior to her profession as a caricature artist, she worked tirelessly as a front-end developer and information architect in the fast-paced internet industry. Hand-coding, optimizing graphics, and designing wireframes were her passions for many years. Her accomplishments include working for clients such as Disney, Allergan, Energizer, Midway, Honda, Mazda, Toyota & Entrepreneur Magazine. After being "online" for a while, she decided to take things "offline" and pursue her calling as an artist. She was part of the original crew of caricaturists who drew at Disneyland's Downtown Disney for Kaman's Art. These days, you can find Millie happily drawing thousands of human and animal faces, somewhere under the Southern California sky.

Employment History:Smug Mugz was officially born in the summer of 2012. The Smug Mugz caricature stand used to be located at the Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, CA but now travels to events. As traveling artists, Smug Mugz caricature artists can be found drawing at corporate picnics, romantic weddings, fun-filled birthdays, pet-friendly socials, or the like, somewhere under the Southern California sky.
