Elizabeth Alan was born in Evanston, Illinois to Anne (Grossman) and Terence Davis. Elizabeth spent the majority of her childhood in Salamanca, NY where she grew up with two younger sisters, Laura and Melanie. Passionate about art and story from a young age she went on to attend Nyack College, majoring in Communications and Digital Media. Elizabeth also completed a Master’s in Intercultural Communications at the Alliance Seminary located in Nyack, NY. The next several years were spent traveling, teaching English overseas in Kurdistan, Iraq, and working as a Creative Arts Director in Hamilton, ON, Canada.

Following her marriage to Peter Schwartz, the newlyweds moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2013 where they began pursuing careers in graphic design. Elizabeth felt led to begin another, different artistic venture and after auditing and attending a few classes, promptly fell in love with the craft of acting. She graduated in 2016 from the two-year Meisner Program at the Carolyne Barry Creative under Don Bloomfield and has also studied under Jonathan Klein, Donovan Scott, Terry Berland, and Gregory Hoyt. Elizabeth believes that film is one of the most influential mediums in art today and is passionate about the possibilities it carries to convey important and impactful messages.

Trained in the Meisner technique along with a strong background in Improvisation and Commercial, Elizabeth Alan is diving headlong into her passion and pursuit of acting with the hopes of impacting the world for the better. She believes film is an unparalleled medium with which to bring truth and multiple facets of the human experience to light.
