Employment History: In January 2001, Stems opened the original retail store, located at 521 N Halsted St. Customers came back repeatedly to purchase Stems creative and unique designs for their homes, events, gifts, and weddings. In July of 2003, with a growing wedding business, Stems decided to open an additional branch, Studio Stems, to provide a dramatic showroom and workspace to expand their special event services. As Stems success story continued, it became clear that the next step would be to consolidate their retail store, design studio, and offices into one flagship location. In January of 2006, Stems officially opened the new and improved location at 850 N Ashland Ave.
