Not your traditional caricature artist. I’m the only party portrait artist in Southern California who creates truly framable fine art ink portraits in 3 to 5 minutes. They have been especially appropriate for weddings, corporate events, bar mitzvahs, and other major life events, where the amusement park style of most caricatures doesn’t cut it. I’ve been creating portraits ever since I started drawing and have developed a reliable hand for 3-20 minute portrait sketches. I draw individuals, couples, small groups, animals, and environments. My drawings are a more direct and deeply observed quick sketch. I love drawing at events – meeting and working with a constant stream of new faces. My portraits have been especially good for formal affairs, where a traditional cartoon caricature doesn’t fit the mood or the quality. However, I’m open and adaptable to all types of occasions, themes, and project proposals. If you would like to hire me and are not in the Southern California area, I’m happy to work from photos or negotiate for travel. I’ve worked for private parties and weddings, as well as corporate and community clients including FRUKT, Contemporary Catering, Amazing Grace Design, Kapture Vision, the Intercontinental Hotel in Westwood, Tarzana’s Community Council, Councilman Englander’s Office in Reseda, numerous weddings and bridal showers, and the Camera Obscura in Santa Monica.

Employment History: My business began as an outgrowth of my involvement with street art fairs in the San Fernando Valley. I began with a Holiday Art Walk in Tarzana in 2014 and have continued through word of mouth and online listings such as Gigmasters, to work at weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, fundraisers, and bar mitzvahs.
