I’m Silvia Busacca, I was born in Ragusa Sicily and I spent my adolescence in Sicily. I come from a half-Sicilian family and am also of international origin as my family lived many years until the 70s-80s in Los Angeles. My father in Los Angeles worked for many years carrying out then in close contact with the Consulate, and my mother in Los Angeles was a housewife. My parents decided to move back to Sicily, so my father went back to life as an entrepreneur the small commercial and my mother worked when was young in a hospital in the department tailoring after she dedicated herself to home as a housewife mother and wife. She wanted to become a fashion designer. I have two brothers one was born in Hollywood in a private clinic and another was born like me in Sicily or even 2013 I am an orphan of both parents a part of my father’s family lives in Los Angeles and I had an uncle who I don’t have never known who now disappeared who he was owns a small tailor shop in Los Angeles where the American actresses dressed. I spent most of my life in Sicily, also going a little up and down in Italy both for my studies in university and also as regards the artistic sector for the castings, and auditions in our sector, I also worked when I was a baby as a model, then in 2015 following precisely my path of university studies embarked on a path United Nations world youth will be present in 8 Nations in the world dominated by the most important international conferences in Europe and I represented Italy in 4 States in Europe as a delegate and Prime Minister of Italy, France one time as delegate, Australia followed by Australian embassy in Rome Italy, as delegate in Rome and for Unicef Australia nominated by the conference in 2 Nations and United Kingdom as ambassadress for UN women UK nominated by the Conference in UK. What attracted you to begin a career as an actor?
My passion for acting began at the age of 17 with a musical based on the Diary of Anne Frank then from there I was selected to the field at the Taormina Film Festival where I had the opportunity for the first time to meet more Italian and international artists in the Taormina film festival 2010 which I remember well for me I was my first experience ever and I took part in the international masterclass of the American actor Robert De Niro and the Italian stylist Valentino and I remember the first film I saw it was ‘ Yellow’ in the cinema by the Italian producer Dario Argento.

How long have you been an actor?
I’m a new actress from 2017, I’m in my first role, and the last one was an IN LIMINE short movie in 2019, as others are in the project realization phase.

What was your first role as an actor?
My first role was as a generic actress in a musical based on the Diary of Anne Frank and I was around 17 years old when I performed a musical performance in a Sicilian theater, instead of my first role as an actress we talk about a short movie film, it was in 2017 in a short movie thriller horror which was however made in 2017 in Faicchio Benevento Italy, my role was as “ major “ secondary role and I was directed by the American Producers of Halloween I and II who were Tyler Mane and Renae Geerlings, The short film has not yet been released, it was producer bye Theater Film Academy in Rome Italy. My real starring role was obtained in 2019 when I represented this divine light within the short movie “ IN LIMINE “ of the director Gianluca Testa director of the International Center for Generative Expression Studies in Rome which was presented as a short movie in two Italian festivals, now presented in the pages of Hollywood connections Center.

What is the best part of being an actor?
The most beautiful part of being an actress is when you can be a thousand people in one like the great Italian writer Luigi Pirandello wrote “ one nobody and one hundred thousand”.

What is the hardest part of being an actor?
The heaviest part for an actress is when you get out of the training and you have to start looking for the right path to climb your career.

Can you tell us more about past projects?
In 2017 I participated in the Showcase in Rome by the Golden Theatre to perform in a gala’ show with other actresses, after the masterclass directed by the famous coach “Bernard Hiller”, dancing and singing. After I’ in a secondary role as a ‘major” in a short movie in 2017 in Faicchio Benevento Italy bye Film Theatre Academy in Rome directed by the American producer Tyler Mane and Renae Geerlings, in 2018 I started collaborating with the International Center CISEG in Rome where I followed the workshops and create 10 monologues in Italian language public in youtube channel of the CISEG, in the same year I start the realization of the philosophical project of ‘ “ IN LIMINE” public in 2019 in two Italian festivals. Today present between the pages in Hollywood Connections Center.

Are you working on any current projects?
I’m working on the project on the documentary, concerning the Young United Nations, I was 2015 2016 on a worldwide journey as a diplomatic simulator. I represented four Nations in 8 Countries in the world as an Ambassadress, Prime Minister, and Delegate mentioned by the international conference, in addition to this project, I ‘ ‘m working is being carried out on the creation of a musical project half in front of the cinema and half in front of the music. I have many projects to carry out they will soon be published.

How do you pick your projects?
I choose my projects based on my ideas and what I want to reflect on the viewer there is no rule and something spontaneous.

What acting styles do you like best?
The acting technique used on my path is the “ generative expressiveness technique consists of “ hypnosis” forgetting to be you to transform yourself into another character.

My favorite actor is Leslie Nielsen, his films travel between irony, fun, and randomness.

Are there any future projects you would like to tell us about?
As I mentioned I’m working on a documentary in honor of the United Nations’ young people in the world, and the project format in English language short movie in international diffusion that I think will be distributed to industry films in Hollywood and California and other many projects, my biggest wish is to bring an Italian project to the Oscars.

What is one piece of advice that you would give to someone aspiring to become an actor?
I believe that there isn’t a person who cannot be an actress, in my opinion, we all have an innate talent and anyone can be an actor and actress, none of us ‘ was born with a little collar” and I think everyone in the life we need a chance. If you want to start this work, do it without setting limits.

Is it necessary for actors to go to acting schools?
The school is important for an actress but many actresses and actors have become famous actresses even without having attended an important school but simply only because the director liked them, let’s say that” anyone in the hands of a good director can become a great actress”.

What is a good age to begin to pursue an acting career?
I think there is no age to become an actress, all created the mechanism of adolescence but in truth, anyone can act at any time.

Is it a career path that you would recommend?
If you can never stop and make sacrifices then I’m the first to tell you “Embark on this career”.
